Default Lists of dropshippers

For those of you that don't know a dropshipper is a retailer that allows you to sell their products and when you make a sale they will ship the item for you and not use their name on the shipping. Some will even use your address labels and include your literature in the packaging. This is great for the small ebayer as it means you don't have to handle, nor arrange storage for, any stock. Some do require a membership fee but quite a lot don't.

You will probably seen people trying to sell lists for about $30/£30 or there abouts. So I say stuff them. If you use a dropshipper or, even better, have access to any lists of dropshippers then post them in here for others to share.

And to get the ball rolling here is my list:

Thanks for starting this thread - this is exactly what I have been looking for (and didn't want to pay the 'costs' that other people charge for this info).

Unfortunately, I don't have any links to share - but if I do, I'll come right back!

I don't have a huge directory but my site fits here... http://supplierlocator.com - The company profiles indicate dropshipping yes/no (that is if the company filled out that field!).

Default Dropshippers and More....

Hi All,
I am surprised I did not see on the list www.HotBuy4U.com they are a big dropshipper. Please do not think that Ebay is the only game in town though. If you are looking for less expensive places to sell your product checkout our site www.Bid-City.com

Default More Dropshippers

This is an excellent idea Carbonize! Here are my suggestions:

http://www.wholesalemarketer.com

They actually aggregate several dropshippers into one site which is nice cause you only have to setup one account with them and then you have access to several different warehouses.

http://www.wholesale411.com/cgi-bin/...s=dropshippers

They are also a great spot to search for additional wholesale inventory.

For a monthly fee, per wharehouse. Plus a "small handling fee" per order. Maybe you pay extra for convience, but this is not really your typical dropshipper.

I'm not saying that there's no money to be made there, but I might be thinking that.

And there I was thinking of offering a service to set up drop shipping websites, and do the integration....

Still, I wouldnt be doing it as described, I would be offering to handle the technical details and not hiding the actual dropshippers or dictating which ones are used.

Also, when you are dropshipping, you are responsible for the sale to the customer. If they dont recieve the item, it is on your head. Something some people dont seem to realise (at least under UK law, you as the "middle man" have the contract to supply the goods to the customer). So it would be a damn good idea to vet your chosen dropshippers.

I'm the I.T. Director and webmaster for an "As Seen on TV" distributing firm. Salco wholesales and dropships about 400 of the products advertised on TV; from "Space Bags" through "Little Giant Ladders".

The warehouse we ship from is approx 30 feet from my desk through three doors, and I can bug the manager back there anytime I want <g>.

EZdropshipper.com isn't as nicely SEO'd as many of the sites I see linked on this forum, but I'm still learning.

Default Corporate Sites

Hi Again,

This topic seems to be quite hot. I have a lot of experience in setting up and marketing these sites. I have had 10 clients in the last 2 months and all shops are online and trading using LEGITIMATE dropshippers NOT agents.

A recent site sold for over £2000.00 after being marketed by us for 6 months, it turned over around £1260.00 in profits using the dropshipping business model.

There is a short illustration of this exact business at the following link:

http://www.ignite-systems.co.uk/case%20study.htm

This contains screendumps and information about dropshipping.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned Chris Malta's directory. I've been a member for year and a half and it is incredible. They continue to update their directory with new dropshippers. This is about THE ONLY dropshipping directory I would ever pay for. Here's the link: http://www.worldwidebrands.com

Default Dropshippers!

I just clicked through most of these dropshippers and --gee I seem to see all that merchandise in the town landfill..junk--Really!
Most of the links did not download.
I use 3 dropshippers in my store--and they have proven to be friends and dependable suppliers--never a hassle or problem.
I try to take my time and seek out quality ,at the same time supporting smaller mom and pop or cottage industries.
Anyone can advertise on the back of matches...

Hello To All,

Sorry if some of these are repeats. I wanted to reply to this thread because I have done research within the past couple months, along with contacting most of these companies via email to verify that they are still in business and still drop shipping. I did NOT, however, at this time, have the time to check the list for duplicates already posted, so my appologies for that. Again, this contact and research has recently been done within the past two to three months. If I remember correctly, MOST do NOT charge a fee for this service, and MOST of this list DOES dropship on your behalf. MANY of them take extreme precautions to prevent your customer from going directly to them for purchases and do not place their company information on the packages. SOME of these companies will also use your company name on their shipping label. Hope that this helps out, and again, sorry for any duplicates.

Default life is good

Sometimes life is so good it makes me want to pee my pants!!

I am teaching a course next week to people with disabilities on selling on eBay. I do it every couple of years. It is going to include the topic of dropshipping, and you folks have just given me a treasure trove!

Think of it. One of the students, for example, has severe CP. Sharp as a tack, but can't hold a 'real' job because of it. Creative but slow about it. Gets Social Security disability, which doesn't provide tons of startup funding. Needs a home-based opportunity.

Drop shipping offers the opportunity to make money without having to handle the product, without having to leave home, without having to have lots of initial funding.

The only problem was finding reputable dropshippers and not wasting time/losing money on middlemen. Now that problem is solved.

Whoops! I gotta go pee!!!

(1) One not-so-pleasant aspect of a drop-shipping business involves the inevitible RETURNED MERCHANDISE. Which of the many drop-shipping companies listed in this thread offers the best service with regard to RETURNED MERCHANDISE?

(2) Tell us about the billing issues.

Incidentally, this is indeed an excellent topic Carbonize - thank you.

Default Dropshipping for business and for fundraiser groups

We have just launched a program for business owners and for fundraisers that involves us drop-shipping the items.

We build a website that integrates with your website design and colors free. You select products that you want imprinted with your logo, caption, saying, etc. and send us your graphics in the dimensions that will fit the products you want to sell.

Products (there are 50 to have)include tee-shirts, frisbees, coffee mugs, tank tops, shorts, baseball caps, visors, sweat shirts, metal buttons ("campaign buttons"), canvas totes and more.

Your items are set up in a store with your logo. All you do is have links from your site to the store we set up for you. We process all of the orders and you get $2.00 profit off of each sale from items with your logo on it. All you do is refer your buyers to the store link on your site for your chosen products. The design doesn't have to be your logo though. It can be any graphic design or cartoon so long as there are no copyright or license infringements. (We can't print Micky Mouse for folks to sell).

There are no upfront fees. No site design fees. No hosting fees. No MINIMUMS. No products to buy in bulk. If your customer wants to buy one shirt or 50 shirts, you can order one or 50 through your site. You can order just one baseball cap with your logo on it if an important client is coming to town and you want to give them something with your logo on it - or a coffee cup.

The item is shipped directly to whomever orders or who you want it sent to as a gift.

The reason this works phenominally for schools, church fundraisers, civic groups, non-profits, etc. is there is NO investment and the profits from any sales is just that. Actual profit with no left-over inventory, no lost funds (school kids trying to keep up with door-to-door sales), no kids out roaming the neighborhoods once every two weeks and the profits are normally 3 times what is usually raised with the "conventional" fundraising modes.

The drop-shipping directly to the person who orders takes the hassel out of receiving 800 frozen cheesecakes at the school and depending on all of the parents to come to the school to pick up the items. A good deal of the time, there is a lot of spoilage and "wrong orders", which diminishes or wipes out any profit from the fundraiser at all. Drop-shipping items directly to the consumer eliminates all of the extra expense by families and organizations that is represented in "time spent" doing the delivery as well. The old way is no longer profitable - but with drop-shipping these items, that incredible hassel and time (which equals $$$) eliminates waste.

Feel free to email me if anyone is interested in this type of product/drop ship arrangement.

Default I need a reliable dropshipper

Has anyone tried any dropshipper who :

* is reliable
* is not fraud
* delivers in good condition and provides replacements (without any hassle or fuss
or too many questions asked) if items damaged when in delivery or lost in post
* delivers in time
* not fussy
* etc.

if so, then please let us know roughly :

* how you found them
* what items and quantity you bought from them
* whether they sell items at whole-sale price or just retail
* whether they deliver world-wide or not
* etc.

Default RUBBISH LINKS NOT WORTHY

Ok Carbonizer or trogar or who-ever you are, I see your long list of dropshippers but how can I be sure that they are not teenage frauds operating from their bedrooms since not all of them would be in my country (UK) for me to visit them and check them out ?
One person just posted here that the links are dead.
If they are genuine then how come this ?
Maybe this list of your's are operated by those "here today and legged tomorrow with all our moneys" ?

Also, how can I be sure that you are not affiliated with them ?
Maybe, you have not ever dealt with them ?
Maybe, you don't know if any of these are good or not ?
Maybe, you are just promoting them to make some extra commissions as their affiliates ?
On the other hand, how can I be sure that you don't own all these domain names ?
No offense but that's the kind of questions's answers people want from strangers and if you can provide them with PROOF that the dropshippers are genuine and not crooks then you will be able to build a community of your own who trust what you say.

Do you make it a point to post such messages to the members here in the list that provided information in the thread, or are we the only ones? For the record, we are not new here to WebProWorld, we have been around for quite some time, and if I am not mistaken, that is reflected in our profile under member since information. Secondly, as for the information, we are also PUBLISHED here at WebProWorld, you can view that article at http://www.webpronews.com/ebusiness/...mStrategy.html. Thirdly, the information was provided as it was a thread that struck our interest and was something that we had been researching not so long ago. If you click on any of the links, you will see that there are NO affiliate information at the top of the page in the URL browser window, and if you view the source code of the page where the info is posted, you will also note that there is no affiliate information there either, just a straight URL with some session ID's left in it that we failed to strip out in our haste to post. As such, there is nothing for us to gain through posting the information there, as you can see through that itself. Fourthly, I think the post mentioned that we had done some research on them, that does NOT imply that we have any dealing with them at that point. It was information resources left to the readers to do with as they seen fit, as is much of the information placed out there in a forum setting. We would EXPECT that you would do some legwork to verify our claims and check the companies out just as we have done. Our preliminary research has been basic domain registration and Better Business Bureau inquiries to validate their business ethic and handling of complaints IF any complaints were on file. Fiftly, again, our post was information to be used in a cautious manner by those reading. There was no implications in our post that said they were good or not. As I have already stated, we are still conducting PRELIMINARY research on the companies before we decide who we want to use or not as our dropshippers. Sixthly, a simple domain lookup through a domain registrar would tell you WHO owns the domains and wether or not we own them. As you will find, we own none of them save our own at www.sanders-consultation-group-plus.com, which you can use that information to verify against the other domains should you so choose. Lastly, we were not looking to benefit from this post other than to give some information back to a community which I no longer have the time to give to. We had not posted in so long that it was just an opportunity to offer something to try and help others out. Do with the information as you will, but don't expect us to try and justify something that we offered freely and without any thought to recognition or payoff for.

Quite frankly, your private message somewhat insults me. If you are one to just click on a bunch of links without researching the companies before establishing a relationship with them, then you have bigger problems than worrying if the sites are run by "teenage" scam artists. If you had bothered to check any of this out BEFORE sending your demeaning message, then you probably wouldn't have had to litter our inbox with such a message. Come on, get real here. You come off like someone who wants others to do all the work for you, and you want it for nothing. You better wake up and realize really quick that the net just doesn't work that way, and to send such an insulting message to someone who was just tossing information out there for you to explore, you aren't going to keep getting things from them by taking the approach that you just took with us. Did you even bother to maybe click our site link in our signature and look around at the other information we offer throughout our site? Maybe taking that approach would have showed you what kind of a company we are, and you wouldn't have had to waste your time sending us your message or pointing a questioning finger at us here in your forum post.

Default A proposition if I may????

Hi! I have purchased the dropship list from WWB.... and it is amazing.
But then I thought, hmmmm I wonder whats in the wholesalers list???

I dont want to spend another $70.00 to find out, so heres my offer to someone who might have already bought the wholesalers list.... <mod edit - aniysha, I know it happens, but I'm afraid WPW can't allow posts suggesting swapping passwords with another member to avoid paying for a product - carju Moderator >

oh and for the rest of you guys, Im willing to share some links, but there are just soooooo many, so let me know what exactly you are looking for, IE product brand names or types and I will get back to you as soon as Im able to!

Thanks!

Default Bookdropshippers?

I have been looking for dropship sources that dropship books for a while with little success.
I wonder why this is, are books difficult to dropship due to the competition (amazon, barnes and noble, powells adn such) or do publishers not like to dropship, prefering to trade in bulk? Maybe they do not like to advertise that they dropship, waiting for sellers to ask them.
Anyway, your thoughts on this and any bookdropshipping sources you might know about.
Regards.
