It's not as exciting as Google buying JotSpot, a purchase that has left me wondering about the sanity level in the Googleplex, but Wired picking up Reddit is a lot more interesting.

And head-scratching since Wired already owned a Reddit clone, so they must have bought it for the traffic.

Reddit doesn't display ads, though. So traffic to Reddit wouldn't be directly monetized. Ok, I'm confused now.
