Garrett French of WebProNews and WebProWorld will be reporting live at the 3-day WebmasterWorld Search Engine and Marketing Conference in late February. The event is in Orlando on February 24-26.
The reporting will be done in real-time throughout the day with posts in this WebProWorld Insider Forum. This reporting strategy is unique to WebProWorld and will be similar to our recent coverage of the Search Engine Strategies Conferecne in Chicago. It will include coverage of individual sessions, exclusive interview with speakers and attendee's and highlights of the most interesting and useful discussions. We obviously welcome your comments.
Keynote speakers are Matt Cutts of Google and Andy Bourland of MaketingWonk. Matt is an integral part of Google's search quality control team, and Andy co-founded ClickZ. In addition, conference speakers include: Tim Mayer from Yahoo, Paul Gardi from Teoma, Marshall Simmons from About.com, Eric Ward from URLWire, Kevin Lee from Did-it.com, and Search Engine Specialists including Mike Grehan, Dan Boberg and Greg Boser.
In the Search Engine Marketing track there will be topics titled PPC bid wars, paid inclusion and trusted feeds, and directories. The Search engine Optimization sessions include classic
SEO techniques, aggressive proactive linking, algo testing and investigation, and beyond the search engines.
The Affiliate Track includes finding good affiliate programs, avoiding the traps and pitfalls, and a session called "The Golden Goose." Look for some of Garrett's reporting here in the WebProWorld Affiliate Forum.
There's also a Webmaster Technical track for those interested in getting more from tracking and logging, design and coding, domain names and whois, and a final session called: "Running with the Big Dogs: Are you really the master of your domain?"
