The director of eBay's Developer Program has chosen to leave the online marketplace after five and a half years. He hasn't disclosed his future plans yet.

That does leave a significant hole in what has been a blossoming initiative by eBay to reach out and embrace the development community. But if he had stock options that vested ahead of his four-week sabbatical, the well-regarded Isaacs probably made a smart move here.
