Bloglines Working On Blog Search Engine

Mark Fletcher, founder of Bloglines spoke yesterday at Pubcon regarding future plans for Bloglines. Notably, Mark stated that the blog aggregation site Bloglines is hard at work on an advanced blog search engine. Mark stated that Blogline currently indexes 1.5 million blogs.

Roughly 40% of the audience at Pubcon indicated that they use a web-based blog aggregator vs. a software downloadable aggregator.
