While enjoying the webmasterradio.fm / prweb / text-link-ads / whoeverelsedroppedtheirname event, I made quite an observation.

WMW can't dance.
WPW don't rock & roll.

Ok, so it's not that Brett couldn't dance, it's that he wouldn't. May have had something to do with the fact that they were offering him $2000 to go upstairs and dance with the poles if you know what I mean, but he didn't do it. For $2000, I'd have considered it. He did, to his credit, dance on the dance floor after things cleared out a bit. He was a good sport about it.

As for WPW, I kept my eye out for Mike and never saw him. Is he too good to party with us? Did he not know about the gathering? Was he afraid of the free beer? I guess we'll just have to ask the source for the answer there.

In any case, the conference was awesome (as you can probably tell by the session summaries posted here) and the parties were even better. The networking opportunities sure make the conferences worth more than the price of admission for any marketer.

That party was amazing. I know some folks heard about this, but some friends of mine opened up the back bar (which was unoccupied), and served "free" drinks to patrons for a good hour before we were shut down. I was so inebriated after that that I only lasted another hour or two before crawling my way back to the hotel.
