Your Session Suggestions Please
There are about 40 different sessions during the three days of the conference with three, sometimes four sessions running at the same time.
Tell what sessions you're most interested in hearing about. I'll use consensus and common sense to determine which sessions I report on.
Visit the conference session listing and let me know which ones you're most interested in learning about.
In addition, if you have questions for any of the big names there - Danny Sullivan, Jill Whalen, Andy Beal, or any of the search engine employees, post them for me or just send them to me in a private message.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Sessions of Interest
Hello,
These are the sessions that interest me the most. I picked one out of the three for each time slot.
Organic Listings Forum
Search Engines & Affiliates
Search Term Research
Cleaning Up The Mess
Campaign Case Studies
Balancing Organic & Paid Listings
Alternative PPC Search Engines
Click & Convert
Converting Visitors Into Buyers
Dealing With Directories
Paid Inclusion & Trusted Feeds
SEM Providers Forum
As far as questions I would love insite from Danny, Jill and the others on:
The future of free listings (will Google go for paid inclusion one day)
The best strategies for getting listed in Inktomi
How to balance optimization for both for Google and inktomi
Are there any up and coming search engines/ppc/technologies that may be worth looking into now?
The future of affiliates and organic listings?
What's after pay per click (local search?)
Hope I didn't post too much. Just a lot on my mind. Hopefully I will be attending the next conference!
Thanks,
Jeremy

Garrett, I'd be interested in the following.
Successful Site Architecture
Dynamic Web Sites
Optimizing Flash & Non-HTML Content
Shopping Search & Merchant Sites
I actually went to one of these conferences a few years back, when there wasn't half what there is today to be discussed. Don't work too hard ! :-)

Danny Sullivan's report he is the man I like his feed back and insight. Also Dealing With Directories whatr ever you can do to let the rest of use in on this great trip. I'm sure I speak for most of us we would be grateful indeed.
Have a good trip!

Page, (Larry Page Google), ranking.
Page, (Larry Page Google), ranking. What is the best method of improving Page Ranking via Exchange links. Is there any real benefit to exchanging links with other sites and how important is this over other methods?

I thought content was king and optimizing a site for the search engines with keywords, meta tags, etc. would do the job, but now I'm finding myself searching for "the right way" along with everyone else.
I'd be most interested in your thoughts from any of the following:
Introduction to Search Engine Marketing
Search Engine Friendly Design
Search Term Research
Writing for Search Engines
Link Building & Advanced Link Building Forum
Getting Local
Successful Site Architecture
Converting Visitors into Buyers
Dealing with Directories
I'm greatly looking forward to your comments from the conference. Thanks so much for any insights you can offer.

If you can ask some questions:
With the latest Google change, Does Page Rank Really have any relevance?
and if it does Why doesn't it show up in the search rankings in a number of highly competitive key word phrases or words?
Links? Are they necessary? and How necessary? Advice for the future of links?
As far as PPC: My God a $1.00 a click for a lead seems excessive (Overture), but it's happening. Are these sites really making money?
Thanks
Kent

Great Questions!
Hi Folks,
Thanks for your suggestions! I'm going to be planning my session itenerary today, and this will really help me figure out how I can satisfy the largest number of people.
The SEO world is in such turmoil right now with Google's recent algorithm changes. I'm sure that will be a major topic this week.
I'll be checking back here (and posting) for the next three days, so if you think of questions as the week goes by please post them here.

I've submitted a site to DMOZ a few times and it has never showed up. Any know criteria for what they are looking for, what not to do, or reasons a site wouldn't be accepted. Do I have to volunteer to be an editor and put the site in myself?

How About the State of SE Marketing, Garrett?
Hi, Garrett
Out of the 40 sessions to run, I'd most like your report on the following:
Search Engine Legal Issues Update
Converting Visitors to Buyers
State of Search Engine Marketing
Writing for Search Engines
Cleaning Up The Mess
Search Term Research
Search Engines & Affiliates
Search Engine Friendly Design
Seems you have your work cut out, Garrett, so I hope you can handle my 8 choices.
At our marketing resource centre, we constantly work with over 300 pros in looking at new ways to provide online strategies to webowners. We're interested in any new developments regarding SEO and Ranking you gather from the Conference.
Plus, is anybody (Danny, Andy, Jill etc.) gonna discuss (please, please) how to take all the "Get optimised with 10,000 Search Engines!!!" jokers out of the game? Hope so!
Look forward to your report, Garrett.

Most interesting sessions
Hi Garrett,
I have a feeling that, if we are to predict the future of search engine algorithms, we should look to the Semantic Web,
http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/
But for the purposes of the conference, it appears that the second option for each timeslot has the most relevance to this forum (with a few exceptions). It would also be nice to be able to purchase/download videos of each session.

Campaign Case Studies
Link Building
Dynamic Web Sites
Successful Site Architecture
Site Clinic
Meet The Crawlers
Ad Management Case Studies
Measuring Success Case Studies
Balancing Organic & Paid Listings
I too would be interested in purchasing or viewing either live video or recorded video of these sessions. That is a great idea.
