I am sorry to ask this rather newbie question here. It has a lot to do with the market resizing. Some of our clients have been not too happy with the domain name registration services provided by many . They specifically look for "normal" charges (bulk discounts are nice though not essential) with great service. We are wary of making any recommendation as the situation is nebulous now.

What are the views and suggestions on dependable domain name registrars from the US ?
