Default 7 sites on the same shared hosting package?

hi,

i manage 7 small websites, all on a different shared hosting package.
That means 7 different payments per year..

I have heard that it's possible to put all of them on the same webserver, to reduce the cost.
Is this possible and how do i do this?

It sounds like you need a reseller account - there are many WHM / cPanel hosting providers who offer this type of package (some will even include billing options to allow you to easily charge your clients for hosting, if the sites belong to other people).

i have each hosting account in the country the website is made for.
site in Dutch: webserver in Holland
site in French: webserver in France
..
i did this because of SEO reasons for the specific country.

i suppose with a reseller-account all sites will be on the same country-IP..

is that correct?
so in my case is better to have separate hosting accounts or not?

If you target different markets, it is better to have site hosted in the country you target.
If your market is e.g. Belgium, you can put both Dutch and French versions on a Belgian server.

If your targeting different geographical regions then dont host on shared hosting. Having unique IPs for every domain is useful. I know its costly but if you want to earn something investment is mandatory

Some hosting companies offer packages that allow you to host multiple domains with a single account. In this case (for a Cpanel account anyways) they would all be accessed through a single control panel, which is good if they are all your own sites. A reseller account is probably more expensive (it is with my hosting company) but would be better if, as danlefree mentioned, you are providing the service to clients, as in this case each account would have its own control panel. They would be be on the same server, so you would need to weigh the benefits of the cost saving against the benefits of having separate servers in different countries.
