Default Arghhhhhh!!!! please help!

I've transferred a hosting plan from windows to linux.... then I go to upload the new website with my FTP program and there's no folder or anything for me to put my new website in.... It's like some sort of horrible horrible nightmare!!!!!!!!

Do I need to "do" something to make the linux ready to put my website in?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Where's the new site going to be hosted?

Most reputable hosts provide this sort of information along with an control panel of some sort.

Check the host's website for instructions or an FAQ.
