Linkpoint Connect / oscommerce

I am trying to get Linkpoint Connect to work on my Oscommerce payment module. Linpoint Tech. Support is telling me that I need to change the dynamic url on my checkout confirmation page to a static url. My hosting company is telling me that because most of their customers have changed over to a zen cart checkout that my request might be costly. Can anyone other than my hosting company make this change? I would be willing to pay someone to do this.

hmm.. for some reason, that kinda doesn't make sense.

What does the dynamic url on my checkout confirmation page look like?

Hi hostBrain,

The Linkpoint people are telling me that my Dynamic URL changes for each customer when they checkout of my store. When they link to Linkpoint connect, that URL has to match the one that I have saved in my Linkpoint account. I am being told that a static URL stays the same no matter what customer logs-in. Am I making any sense?

As far as I know, the hosting site comes with a static ip address therefore connecting to your LinkPoint Connect should not be a problem.

You can be running a dynamic page but that will not affect your checkout.

Maybe you like to show your checkout code for us to see why this is so?
