123reg Service Support and Pipex

I've recently experienced major support issues with 123reg (in trying to get an ftp account for a clients domain) - they simply do not seem to answer any emails (Their "support" calls are 50p a minute).

Pipex (owners) claim they do not provide any support on 123reg issues.

How is any web business supposed to take this kind of service seriously. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Last ticket I submitted to them about an issue with a domain name took about 12 days to get a response.

Unfortunately as with all poor support issues the answer seems to be to vote with your feet and move to a different provider.

Thanks for quick response. I can't believe that such a big UK player can let these service issues prevail.

Agree fully agree with your point and had already convinced client to move to my host of preference.

I thought you were referring to 123Ehost in Canada...whew..one of my clients uses them. I use Media Temple..love those guy...they are on the ball and have great service!
