Default DHTML menu auto include on all pgs

hi everyone!

anyone knows a better way to include a DHTML menu on a web site, so that you don't need to change all pages every time you change the menu?

currently there is a flash5 menu. that allows me to place the <embed object... on all pages. the cool thing is that if the width/height don't change, any modyfication to the meny is done only on the flash and comes immediately up on all pages without any page modifications.

is there a way to "embed" a dhtml menu in the same way?

the only way i found is an IFRAME :-(

any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi RareBreed,

You should be able to accomplish this with an include function such as php and SSI.

There's a few topics here about that.

Also, if you are using any Javascript in the menu,
you could throw it all into a file called menu.js
and on every page call it like this
<script language=JavaScript src="menu.js" type=text/javascript></script>

Then you only have to modify the menu.js file
