Default Javascript and Mac Problem...

Hi,

I hope somebody out there can help me...
I have some trouble running a javascript scroll on a mac OS.
On my computer (Windows) it runs perfect under IE and NS.

I get the following problem:

The tekst is being draged out.
On windows the text scroll's perfect but it seems on a mac it gives that problem.

Is there anybody that could help me fix this problem?

tx

Sometimes this problem is a memory or current process issue. I have seen this happen when there is a few things taken up system resources and the browser or in this case the javascript is trying to use more of those resources.

Or does this always happen?

No problems in safari but blurrs in Internet explorer. I doubt many OSX people would use IE anyway after the beauty and speed of Safari.

I dont know, but I have only seen a similar problem with Flash leaving funny lines from a bitmap on odd parts of the screen. But only your navigation bar is flash. Perhaps, as the site is very simple (and beautiful by the way), perhaps do it all in flash and have a text version.

If it was me I'd explain right at the top that on viewed on IE on MacOSX , bleeding will occur, and give them a pop-up with the plain text. It would be a temporary fix, and allow you time to sort the problem out. And again, most use Safari.

If you ever encounter the flash bitmap bleed, this can be fixed by moving it's xy co-ordinates to an even number e.g x=80.00 y = 94.80 instead of say, 79.93 and 94.91 respectively.

Great site - love the background.

Default Forgot

Flash bitmap bleed- forgot I should have mentioned to make width and height end in even number too.

I am confusing myself - but hey, someone's gotta do it.
