My website looks very bad when someone is using a firewall. How do I make sure it still looks ok even with a firewall? Its only at a few spots this happens but it throws my site off very much. Is there anyway that I can fix this?

Could you explain a bit further what is happening you think?
I have a very tight firewall & I am having no probs viewing it. I would hazard a guess your problem is when people have javascript disabled as a security precaution. Many businesses do that these days, and many people put the problem down to the firewall. In fact, I definately think its your javascript. I just view it in Opera (which I have javascript turned off for), and it appears very different. People who use a lot of javascipt in their pages just have to bite the bullet when it comes to users having javascript disabled. You might be able to find a hack to get around it, I've seen this happen a few times. I would usually suggest seeing if you can achieve the same results 'not' using javascript if you want to achieve a more acceptable viewing medium. Because disabling javascript is quite common these days. HTH.

what java script do you think is causing the problem?
As far as whats going on. There are some graphics that are not showing up (non animated) as well as some gaps appearing between the graphics and tables. Makes everything look sloppy. I thought about creating a html version of my site but feel there must be a way past this issue and still keep my php :) . |
