Based on your tests, or tests that you know of, do buttons or plain text links work better in terms of click-through rate?
I searched but only found tests that had been done on email marketing where the email was sent to the same group every few weeks in a newsletter. I'm wanting to know in terms of websites. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks! |

In my experience - text is better.
A button with text on. . works A button without text seems pointless.

Really? That's not what I expected. I've always used text links.
Thanks. |

Dave has points. Similarly we do the same thing.
Buttons with text really do work. And the logic on the call to action is true as far as our experience says.
