Default What does this mean ---> target="userwww" ???

Respected members,

First time i saw in website coding and designing this

target="userwww" in the anchor tag with link.

I don;t know what is this.

Can you please let me know about it more...

If the page is using frames then userwww could be the name of the target frame to open the link in.

In pages that are not using frames, it could be used to force the link to open in a new window.

So it does, target="anythingyouwant" opens in a new window the same as _blank

Not really !

"anythingyouwant" will open a new window the first time you click on the link, then any other click will always be displayed in that same window.

At the opposite, _blank will always open a new window, even if a previous target="_blank" has been used...
