This is a paid site. Do you know of any good free sites I can set up a forum on?

phpbb is the easiest IMO. You go in, and to make an area of the forum private (or all of it), you set the permissions.

One thing is asking for a site that gives you a forum set up with a couple of clicks for free, another thing is wanting a free software to install it on your own site and have full control of your forum. phpBB is free software so you can use it the way you want on your own site.
