Problem in Photoshop

When i add a new font to my fonts folder in Windows then the font does not show up in Photoshop.
But if I keep the fonts folder open while using PS , the font registers in there. Any help ?

You might want to try rebooting your computer if you haven't already so that windows registers the fonts.

Did you install the new font? or just put it in to the fonts folder?

If the font isn't actually installed the programs won't recognize it.

Open the fonts folder, Install, New Font. You may need to reboot for the change to take effect.

the problem is simple...it's called Photoshop and there's a really simple solution, it's called Fireworks. It will solve alot of your problems.

On a serious note, you're not using anything like Suitcase are you?
