It is a custom built menu system that combines CSS and Javascript to produce the results seen on the site. There are a few free libraries available on different sites that let you accomplish a similar effect on your site.

If you view the source code for the page, you will find that for the "Shop All Departments" menu at the point beginning with

<!--Pilu -->
<!--CMMKPSVCH -->
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td valign="top" width="180" class="amabot_left">

I don't know what program you use to make your websites, but I saw an amazing preview today of XSitePro Version 2, due for release 20 May.

It has a (built in) CSS menuing module which will produce the same menu as amazon.com, without any programming knowledge at all.

A search for xsitepro will give you the info if you are interested.

More menus: Listamatic2: nested list options

Cheers
