Default Create Addon Domain

I currently have a website hosted with Hostgator and am using Soholaunch Sitebuilder to create and manage the site. I can add unlimited addon domains. I thought I could use Soholaunch for those sites as well, but it appears that all the "sitebuilders" they offer only work to build the MAIN domain.

So now I need to figure out how best to build my other sites. I've been told I could use Wordpress or Joomla or other options though Cpanel/Fantastico. But I really don't want to learn to use one, only to find that I need to learn another one to build the other sites...

What I'm looking for is a reccomendation for an easy to use sitebuilder that I can use to create multiple sites. I've heard talk of CMS, not sure if that's something I need. At least one of my other sites will be an "ecommerce" site in case that makes a difference. I plan on using paypal type buy-it-now buttons or a shopping cart, not sure yet.

I'm familiar with Frontpage, but I didn't really like using it. Any reccomendations or suggestions would be great. Thank you.

Hi Tarzanna77

Yep definitely avoid Frontpage at all costs. it does weird things to your coding and design. I have heard that Site Spinner (Virtual Mechanics SiteSpinner - Website Building Software) is good for beginners

I have just succumbed to the charms of Joomla for CMS. You can register on their site for a password to use their demo Joomla! Failing that apparently Wordpress can be used for the same reason. Both have pre-made templates available to start you off.

As far as ecommerce goes, there are a few options available - I am currently creating a site using OSCommerce http://oscommerce.org/ which has community support, should you get stuck.

Regardless if you need help or get stuck with any of the above, do feel free to ask this community.

Hope this helps.
