Default Expanding thumbnails with CSS

Hello,

I want to develop a site, which has some expanding photos on the page. That is, when you move the mouse over the photo, it enlarges. I was looking at Nathan Smith's excellent css 'hoverbox' page (Hoverbox Image Gallery) and was wondering how to incorporate just a few pictures.

Then I found caljrimmer's pretty "City in Paint" template(Open Source Web Design - Preview - City in Paint), which uses Nathan's code to do just that but there seems to be a problem with good old IE. In IE6 and IE7, Nathan's oroginal page seems to work fine but with IE6, caljrimmer's page does not wrok at all and in IE7 it grows the photos OK but they appear stacked behind each other file-index fashion. I have tried to play with the z-axis settings in the css file to no avail.

Can anyone help?

Simon

flsurfkarma,

Thanks for your suggestion. Venus Kitchens have a pretty site but I am not specificlly looking for a photo gallery, just a way of giving the viewer an enhanced view of various products, before clicking on the photo of their choice to link to that product's specific page.

WDC, you need to get out more....
