Default Looking for good/better alternatives

Hi

At the moment I am with any website building company called Sitesell - (SBI) which I am not doing very well with . I intend to build one or two more websites in my attempts to make a decent income and I would like to ask you all what other good website building companies that you know of.
I do like what SBI offers as far as features but as I am on a disability income pension and my funds are very limited at the moment I have look around even more for the best prices as well as features.

Thank you for looking at my post Craig

Hi Craig,

First of all, put together a definite list of things/features you want in your site and any other important info related to the site build.
Then based on that, list the skills, qualities and aspects you want from your web design company/individual.

I would recommend looking in your local area for a good firm. In your position, it would be invaluable to meet face to face with them. The need to have subsequent meetings during the site buiild will also be important. Do a local search in a search engine, yellow pages, business pages, or busineess directory. Create a shortlist of around 6 or 7. Call them up. Reduce that list to around 3 or 4, then arrange meetings. Then choose the best one.

Generally speaking, try to look beyound what they say.. all the jargon and egoistic self promotion. look at their portfolio, and trust your instincts.

Good luck.
