Thumbs down Getting different image background colours and bad alignement as well...

Hi, im fuser and ive just created yesterday (and im still working on it) a site called Wikli (Wikli beta) .. basically its a site where you can search all of the wikipedia content. For example, when you search for something at wikipedia, it only shows you the page title. Wikli shows you the title, a brief description of it and the url. Im still thinking of some features to add but thats another story.

Here the trouble. Ive tested Wikli on Firefox, IE (for mac), Opera and Safari. On Firefox and Opera, the logo looked great. On Internet Explorer for MAC and Safari on the other hand, the logo had darker background that made it look awful.. why is this happening?

Also, when you go to Wikli beta: About , the text is not aligned correctly... how can i fix this?

Thanks everybody for your help,

fuser

I am not sure, but I think the <body style> is conflicting with the element.style css rule, one is being followed in Firefox/Opera and the other is followed in IE. (possibly IE or FF is not properly recognizing the rgb format?)
