Default img wrapper keeping content from being centered.

I'm in XHMTL strict dtd, and I'm still building in compatibility mode (read: using Safari). for some reason, when I put the image wrapper div on the outside of the container, the drop shadow gets to where I need it to be, but the whole thing then aligns to the left. When I set the img wrapper on the ouside, it gives the whole body a drop shadow and pushes it out a little too far.

i've validated this code already. What do I need to do? It can't be that complicated.

-Clif

PS. And why are my form fields blank?

I noticed two things. The first is on line 205 of your CSS file you have borders: tag, this should I think be just border:. Also, on the page itself for the footer image, you have the img with an align tag, which is not supported with XHTML strict. This should be replaced with style="text-align: center;" or "margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto;"

I've updated the code since then. But now the problem is, and it's been for all this time, why isn't my drop shadow working?

I don't use the xhtml strict DTD for that reason and for target="_blank" on external links.

I generally enclose the <div id="siteContainer"> in a <div align="center">.. I haven't found another working solution for it myself.

If one has a problem like that one should validate the code used.
Using the 'Tools' in the FireFox browser is always a good standby.

Are you still having problems with the display? I took another look at the site in Firefox, using a new tool, and I noticed that the text area sticks out a little bit (removing the width setting from #maincontent should correct this) and the footer is separated from the rest of the content (change the bottom margin of the #maincontent to correct).
