Photoimpact
I've been using PhotoImpact and PhotoShop since early versions and I've always preferred PhotoImpact because of speed. Deadlines are always urgent and sometimes PhotoShop just requires that extra little step to get things done.
People that say PhotoImpact is for amateurs are unfamiliar with the all the features. In my experience some of my best jobs have been created using PhotoImpact.
Photoshop is great when you need the details to be perfect. But for web projects, what’s the point when you then have to reduce the size/quality. For web projects PhotoImpact is by far the superior tool. For extensive graphic design and detail, PhotoShop has the edge…maybe!
In fact I would like to challenge anyone using PhotoShop to create a superior graphic for the web…for example logos, icons, wallpapers, etc. I will use PhotoImpact the challenger will use Photoshop.
