Default 2' high screen shot?

not exactly web related but hoping someone may be able to help:
we would like a screen shot on a banner we are creating, this means the screen shot will be about 2 feet tall - does anyone know how best to capture and resize a screenshot of an application so as to be able to enlarge it to this size without losing clarity?

thanks

Don't think you have any chance with a screenshot without it looking very grainy at that size.

Best bet is to recreate the screenshot by hand in your favourite graphics package.

why not just have 2 copies of the image, one resized to fit on the screen and another at a higher resolution and size, suitable for printing?

You should be able to create both in any graphics application, such as Photoshop.
