Default Web Catalogs

I am new to the web design arena. I am trying to make a catalog where you have a standard templated page that, depending on your choice different products will show, rather than a seperate page for each item.
I use frontpage 2002
Also how do you do the "ADD TO Cart" thing?

Thanks in advance Steve

p.s. No I am not starting a business yet, I do not feel comfortable with security yet, I will learn a great deal more before doing it. I just learn better by doing.

There's a lot of different ways to do it, depending on what language/OS you have on your server. You can do a shopping cart as session data, as temp data in tables, or a combination of the two.

But I get the impression from your questions that you really need to step back and learn this stuff real well before taking it into practice. Specifically, if you're trying it without reading at least a chapter or two on data security, you're asking for serious trouble of the sort that could ruin a business (probably yours).

I recommend you read most of the relevant O'Reilly book. The Welling/Thompson PHP book is also very good.
