Sliced Background Image

I work with another girl on a website for teen girls. We have great content, and a great community (the boards). But the websites design ...well it looks so bad I’m not even going to post the link to it. So thanks to the generosity of my boyfriend, I now have access to photoshop / image ready, and dreamweaver. Yet here’s my problem:

I made a background image, and sliced it with image ready, and inserted the links. It works, but it’s as a foreground (my apologies if that’s the wrong word) image. What code would I need to insert to make it a back ground image?

Hello Hush,

Since you are using tables in your design, to set the images as the background for the table cells just do the following:

In the <TD> tags specify the image as the background for the cell example:

<td background="http://url/images/image_name.jpg">

and remove the <img> tag that is in between your <td> tags
