I am curious to know what I can do to fill some white space on longer pages in my site. www.sovereignwebdesign.com/icr/
Essentially it is set up as a 2 column table so I am trying to avoid any colspan type fixes. And obviously the pages will have various lengths that may or may not require more content/images, etc. Is there a way to achieve this so it will globally work across the entire site? Thanks

If you increase the size of your paragraph text (class 'right'), which is quite small anyway it should take up most of the white space.
I hope that helps.

You could always make a graphic image that would be your table background using css that would repeat.
So make an image the width of your table and 1px high. Add to your table tag... class="mainback" And css .mainback {width:740px; background: url("../images/mainback.jpg") repeat-y 0% 100%;} Any columns would have there own background color which would cover this main background, but if they are short, this background would show. |

Alternately, you could move your news links to that space, if they'll fit the width. That way you'll increase your page text content too.

Though you "Accomodations" images add color to the page, I'm not sure they add a professinal look. At first glance, they look like advertisement banners that may or not be part of the your accomodations of your site. You might want to concider changing these. Just a thought.

I like the design of your site. My suggestions:
1. Make the main text font a little bigger. It's kind of hard to read. 2. Change the top corners of your banner from square to curved. This simple trick often does wonders for a design. Regards David Tislini |
