Default Vector to Bitmap

Hi,
I don't know if I'm in the right forum but I need some help.
When I convert AI vector text to a PS bitmap I always get a terrible result. What am I doing wrong?

What program are you using?
Illustrator? If so, what version?
If not, then what?

What resolution is the image when you rasterize it? If it's too small then it won't give you good results. Also make sure you're in RGB colour space and have anti-aliasing on.

Hope that helps!

Another option could be to export the image as a 300dpi
TIFF image.

Then re-import into PS for resizing etc...

Hope this helps ;-)

If the image is for web use (so only screen resolution is required) you can simply take a screen grab of the original and work from that...
