I have a website, and know how to write the information I need to put up [well, most it] but my problem is WHERE do I post it? HOW do I find a vacant address on my site? How does one know WHAT address to put in to upload info? Someone did my site for me and got ill before they were able to teach me.

Sounds like what you need is FTP (File Transfer Protocol) info.

That would come from your web host (the place to upload it to).

So you need to contact the host for whatever your site is and get it from them.

From there, visit http://www.pageresource.com/putweb/ftpmain.htm to learn how to FTP, and www.smartftp.com for a free FTP program.

Sorry it's so vague...but the question was. :(

Agree with Adam. Suggest you download WS_FTP (or source it from a PC Magazine disc).
You will need to know the FTP address to access your site, your Password and Username.
Given this, you can then set up WS_FTP and access your website files, create a sub-directory, add/remove files, whatever.
First stop is to contact your web hosting service and obtain your access details (if you don't have them already).
