Does it have a Rounded Rectangle tool?

Photoshop does.. hmm.

But other than that, I can't think of any quick and easy ways to do it.

However.. in Photoshop, I can select the rectangle or square then use a menu command to round out the selection and inverse it then hit delete.
Maybe that'll work in fireworks too..

In FireWorks:

Drag the 'rounded rectangle tool [u]' from the 'vector' menu with 100% white fill (anything else will get you less than 100% ) over the image (picture). Adjust the rounded rectangle for position and roundness of corner etc.

Then select both image and rectangle and in the main top menu select: Modify > Mask > Group as Mask.

You will be left with your picture with curved corners.

You can also see you can do this with any other shape you care to make.
