What fonts are these, and does anyone have them?
http://www.libreriapandevida.com/Web...devidalogo.jpg
I need to recreate this logo, since the client was never given the original by the person who originally did it.
But I don't know which fonts were used.
So...which fonts are these (the Libreria and the PV) and does anyone have them or know where I can get them for free?
Thanks.

I would venture a guess.. maybe
times new roman for the Libreria and
bank gothic for the PV?
add some photoshop filtering and you could probably come pretty close..

I got a very good likeness in a few minutes in CorelDraw using Times New Roman and Eurostyle, two very common fonts. However, you do have to convert the C and the V to curves and tweek em just a teeny bit. In about 15* minutes you should have an exact copy - if you've used CorelDraw or a prog like it before ;-)
Actually Bank Gothic does look closer - but you'll still need a graphic prog to fully reproduce the logo - and a tad of design skill as well. Those designers are cleverer than you might think you know....
* ahem....a bit longer than that I think, actually

Adam,
I agree with Steve. That must be a times new roman... or any other similar would do, surely. About the PV: I don´t have that font myself -the one steve used-, but looks that it should work fine. I also agree that with some emboss and shadow you will get same the effect.
I searched on my fonts archive -about 800 fonts- and I found only 3 possible for their squared lines. They are not the same, but I think that as well, this designer had manipulated some basic fonts. (In fact I suspect that he draw them **)
Their names are:
1. Plain O Matic
2. Vipnagorgialla
3. Quadaptor
Send me a message if you are interested I send the files to you.
edit: ** as rollerball says too, they may need to be converted and have some tweek, done.

A friend of mine couldnt find a font , he started tracing the font using adobe illustrator.. it was time consuming, be even more so if you needed the full character set, I hope this somehow helps.
cheers, Daniel www.sumerdigital.com
