Transparent Background Jpg/Gif With Coreldraw

I use Coreldraw 11 but have version 8, 9, and 10 as well. So if any of you know how to make an image with that program, please tell me how I can get transparent backgrounds on my jpegs and gifs.

I don't use those programs but I can tell you 2 ways to achieve this effect.

1) Use your Lasso Tool to remove the background of the image and then use the color of the background of your web page behind the new image.

2) Since only .GIF supports a transparent background, once you have removed the background of your image(s) see if you can export with either Alpha Transparency or Index Transparency. If not, refer to step one ; - )
