Hi,
I know if I have a mailto link on a web page it will automatically open my IE visitors Outlook program with a 'ready to send' draft e-mail, right? Questions are: 1/What's the equivalent for Apple users [ditto 'Save as Home' Page] 2/Is there a clickable link I can put on a web page just to open the viewers e-mail program? I'm building a site for a large apartement building that, hopefully, they'll choose to make their Home Page of choice (RSS feeds, Search Bars etc.) and it would be cool to have a 'Go To My E-Mail' link.

I'm not sure of the "Save As" thing for Apple users, but the mailto: link will open the user's default email program with a blank email. So this depends on the user's computer configuration.

Thanks, but as I said, that's sorted. It's more a question of opening Outlook without the pre-formatted e-mail popping up.
I once, before we all got rightly paranoid about stuff, was e-mailed a link that offered help in finding out where the hidden coffee cup holder was on my PC: clicked on it and my CD tray opened - stupid, silly - but amazing at the time (7 years ago now I guess). Spooky too and I've never trusted anybody since! Remember those innocent days when (nice) people like me weren't looking for a way, via a Forum, to suggest to your PC that it open your Outlook program?
