We have a respectable site that ranks particularly highly and our traffic is booming..
I need to upgrade our look.. initially the best idea would be just to upgrade our banner that heads each page and then our buttons to brighten the site. So I am looking to have a new banner/header made.

Tired of no reply emails etc..

I would apreciate some personalised ideas sent to me, not templates that are common etc etc . I want one designed..preferably small flash file.
No rip off merchants please

Hello oneofthe3lions, after looking at the sites in question, the banners aren't the sites problem but rather the way the site information a style is.
You really do need a complete make over for your site, especially to keep up with all the other competitors out there.

Agreed -- professional site design looks at the whole page, not just headers and buttons. All of these elements should be integrated.

Specifically, the navigation should be improved -- you only need it across the top OR on the left. Maybe repeat it on the bottom too.

And the Google AdSense ads don't make sense to me -- you have a site that is meant to attract people to your business. This could only divert people to your competitors.

For a professional site, hire a professional.

I dont want to change things too much as we rank top for every term I aim for, that partly has to be because of my structure and content lay out..

we have ads because we attract so much traffic for the generic terms that we cant use.. ie we target people looking for example 'event planners in spain' but get traffic for 'event planners' full stop! Therefore we might as well get paid to push this trafic somewhere else.

We arent losing out to competitors, many of them have great looking flash sites and no ranking/traffic etc. I just want a slight modernisation not a total revamp.

Lol. yeahh I wish! I have certain things sorted to a degree and business gets better all the time. getting the rankings etc is fine, Im certainly not design oreintated tho obviously, sighhhh. All this was started witha budget of 0.00 dollars so getting a good make over hasnt been an option in the past and isnt quite yet. Appreciate your comments tho votekick.
