It's a nice layout but, because GeoCities is notorious for hosting spammers, scammers and ne'er-do-wells, you'll never be found nor taken seriously as long as your site resides there.

You have no content that a search engine would be interested in and that might help you compete in the SERPs. (You've got to feed the spiders or they won't be back).

Get your resume off the site. It should not be there. You're effectively announcing that clients you don't have much experience.

With the photographic examples of your work, post some content describing each job and what you did to provide a solution for your clients.

Add some testimonials from satisfied customers.

To start with, I'd recommend that you check out your competition. Analyze their sites to see what works for them. Note their keywords, keyphrases, page layouts and the site navigation.

Here's what your users expect when they visit your site, btw, you've got 10 seconds to get through to them before they decide to leave. Answer these questions to see where you're at in terms of site architecture and content development.
  • What products and services do you offer?
  • Can I find them on your site?
  • Whom and where are your clients typically located?
  • What sets your offerings apart from everyone else's?
  • What is your target market? Local? National, Global?
  • How long have you been in business
  • Do you have a brick and mortar location?
  • How is it that you've become such an expert in your field?
  • How do I contact you? Phone, email, snail mail?
  • How do I place an order?
  • How do you prefer to be paid?
  • What is your shipping policy?
  • What do I do if there's a problem with my order?
  • What do your customers think and say about your company?

Additionally, your server at brushfiregraphix.com appears to be out of commission.

There's a broken link at
HTML Code:

You're missing meta description and keywords tags.

Your page title does not use any targeted keywords or phrases.

You'd do well to consider linking to your JavaScripts externally and implementing an external CSS stylesheet as well.

You need to add text links consisting of targeted keywords within some new and original content.

You don't use any <h1> page heading tags.

You've not utilized alt attributes on any graphically based navigation links.

You don't have any inbound links pointing to your site. Google doesn't even know you exist. It appears that you've done everything to ensure that the site is effectively invisible in the SERPs.

Start with the basics. You need to work on your onpage optimization. Check out the helpful guides to SEO posted by Webnauts and IncredibleHelp.

SEO, Where Do I Begin?

When the site is hosted on its' own domain and you've completed the onpage optimization, you can start working on building inbound links (IBL's).
