Help Desk Software or Script

We are looking for Help Desk Software (or a script) that uses PHP to run on our own web site. We need a trouble-ticket option that is password protected and we'd like an area for knowledgebase stickies. In reviewing a few options online, we have not found anything that really excites us.

If anyone can recommend an AFFORDABLE Help Desk option, we would appreciate any input from WPW members.

I'm using http://www.kayako.com/ for our help desk, there's a new V3 on the horizon which looks better.

It's about the best I could find when I went looking.

Thanks for the info, Speed. We took the demos for a test drive and found that is has everything we need/want/desire in Help Desk software. This is really slick!

We at Chadha Software Technologies (INDIA) have recently designed and developed a PHP based Helpdesk Software which has Trouble Ticket Based Support System in it. We are planning to release it in the mid of sepetember'05. It has got more features plus better GUI than kayako's one. I can give you screenshots of it plus an online demo if interested.
