Hello.
The strange characters only show up on Firefox. not IE. They appear in the upper left of the page. This is what they look like: And this is what it says about the file: File Type: UTF-8 Unicode English text, with very long lines. After I remove the characters, this is what it says: File Type: HTML document text. I've had to remove them 2 or 3 times today. I was told that it wasn't a server problem. (Maybe they're 'passing the buck'). Any help is appreciated, thanks. TJ |

>> Are you using a WYSIWYG editor in creating your document(s)?
I use MS NotePad to creat the files. I've even uploaded the 'clean' file, using FTP, numorus times. >> How are you editing the .html file..? I'm using the cpanel editor to edit the file. |

>> do the characters show up when you view the page's source in Firefox and/or IE? The characters only show up in Firefox, but the next time it happens, I'll use IE. They haven't shown up yet today. |

>> If you are copying code/text from a webpage/site into notepad and then to your editor, you'll get such errors .... is this a possible scenario? Not sure. I hand code using notepad, then upload using cuteftp. So the problem has to happen on the server side, but they said it wasn't a serverside issue. |
