Hi All! wonder if you can advise me, I have a client thats insisting that I redesign his site with a black background with yellow text, Ive tried explaining to him that nobody will be able to read it for more than 3 seconds, help me out here ,,,any ideas what i could say to him to change his mind?

Serve his IP address with a different CSS file than everyone else. He can see his awful design, but everyone else can see something that is truly a thing of beauty.
Or, make a default of one and allow people to choose different themes, with the black/yellow being an option. Not that I know how to do that stuff, just that I've seen it done very well at a few sites. If you haven't already seen it, take a look at CSS Zen Garden. Maybe it'll give you some inspiration.
