Default Leave the .html off the end of your URL?

If I wanted to use a URL to a page other than my home page in say, a radio ad, it would be nice to be able to use www.mainresource.com/contact rather than needing to add the ".html" on the end. I feel like I should know how to do that and I don't. Help? Please?

MaineWeb, it can be done in an easy way.

You simply have to build a subdirectory named contact.
You then add there an index.html file with your content
and it is done.

Your new page will show up with the URL you desire that is:
www.mainresource.com/contact
