I came across a very similar program created by a chinese company that could also be used in powerpoint presentations that was free of charge however I cant seem to remember the name of it....can anyone help me?

I'm afraid I don't know the Chinese company you are thinking of.

However, I have seen Sitepal being used before.. I'm not too keen on it because it distracts users so badly from the real content. If your revenue is from advertising, then this isn't too hot.

Mind you, I can see the attraction if you are a commerical site. It does look slightly tacky though I guess.

It's really a matter of opinion. Some people like it when their computer talks to them, others don't.
