Default Dreamweaver/ CSS

hi,

I am making a site using "convert to layers"-- option of "macromedia dreamweaver". I want to know the merits & demerits of this process. Because this is the first time i am making this way. The another thing is I am using CSS in those layers.
If you send me some helpful URL's that will be great for me.--------- Please help me-------------

From what I heard Dreamweaver does not do to well with that command... especially if the site is complicated. I found it easier to code by hand than to fix...

I totally agree with PizdusInc. cod eit by hand the layer implemntation in dreamweaver can be challenging at times. plus doing it by hand give you much better control.
