I am building a site, and even though I know from our stats that 99% of our users are on IE6 on a PC, the site should be compatible with other browsers and platforms. I would like to test the home page before I continue. Is there anywhere online that can stimulate the different browsers? Or is it just a case of finding people with other browsers to test it for you? what advice would you all give on testing?
Thank you |

Testing is a pretty big topic in itself.
The cheapest way is to install as many browsers as possible and view your page on each using the same settings to gain a good comparison. Use older machines as well if you have access to them! There are a few good online services too! Try a free trial at BrowserCam. Also, check out Dan Vine's iCapture site - where you can check your page in the Safari browser on a Mac. Hunt around and you'll see there are other permutations! :o) Have fun! Paul |
