Hi All,
What would be a reasonable (inexpensive) way for the average computer user to calibrate their color input/output? I know there are very expensive kits on the market. I'm just looking for something around $150.00. Could it be done for less? Thanks, Francisco Aloy |

Hi, you can check out something like this http://www.colorvision.com/profis/pr...iew.jsp?id=242
I don't think you get can get a proper icc solution for a hundred dollers though. We use monoco proof but have art gallery clients who have to buy it. So we are sorta spoiled here. I will look around for you real quick though. You need to be able to create specific profiles for scanner, monitor, and printer, also the printer gets profiled for each media type as well. This is how you achieve prints coming out like they look on your monitor. I would be happy to explain to process in more detail. Just let me know. Also I will look around for software that isn't quite so expensive. hope that helps Nigel Edit: It would appear that this may provide the entire workflow... http://www.ddisoftware.com/prism/
