Default ebook cover templates

There are a lot of ecover generators out there that come with graphic templates. They also offer you the opportunity to use your own cover and spine graphics that you create in, say, Photoshop.

I would like to know what size these templates actually are. They don't seem to be the size that appears in the finished product. I think they're actually larger. Does anyone know? Have any dimensions? I've played around a lot without much success. Everything looks skewed or blurry.

[Just as a clarification, I know there are a lot of templates available on the web that look like blank ebook covers...I'm not interested in them, just the size of the cover and spine template graphics.]

Thanks!
Kendall

Sometimes I use a screen ruler to get measurements LMAO!

Here is what I use, it is real basic, but you just unzip the folder and use it - no real installation:

Quote:
JRuler is a screen ruler. You can use it to measure how much space you have for an object, or how many pixels wide an object on your screen is. The JRuler Pro version does height also
That's funny! I didn't read the instructions, so I ended up right clicking on the ruler. It has a 'Flip' option that rotates the ruler so you can measure height Haha. No, it is not the 'Pro' version :O)))
