Default some insight needed (graphic, color)

Hi,

I have been re-designing a few of my pages (well, not actually a whole new design, but adding banners and such)

My entire website is pink-ish, but I'd like one of the seperate pages to have a different color (cream) and a different top banner, because that page is one of the most important and most visited pages of my website.

My question is; is it strange to have every single page designed the same, and one single one with a different banner and color? Would you do it?

Please see http://www.typicaldutchstuff.com and you'll know what I mean. ;)

Thanks.
Wendy

Hi,

Personally, I'd keep all the pages the same, or have all of them different. Having just one page different may look a little strange. If you do want to change the colors on just one page make sure it's similar in design to the rest of your site.

Have Fun,
Jeff

thank you. I'm busy changing the colors of that page. The design is going to remain the same, to prevent people getting confused, but I want the background to match the graphic on that particular page. (http://www.typicaldutchstuff.com/senseo1.shtml)

I'm contemplating whether or not I should change the top banner, or just leave it as it is.

decisions, decisions ;)

okay, I changed it. I actually quite like it. I'm leaving it like this for a few days, and see if I still like it.
