Default Making a page full screen

Is there any way to make an html or flash page fill up a users screen and have it where the browser button at the top are gone.

I am doing a game page in flash and when you click the wrong button i want it to go to an html page to make it look like your computer is having an error.

Thank You! This site is a huge help.

There was a way but service pack 2 for windows xp is supposed to fix this "bug" in internet explorer. It may be possible in other browsers you would just have to find the right code.

I leave sites that try to control my computer as soon as posible, and a lot of other people do the same.

I understand what you mean and personally I think it is a good idea (as long as it doesn't look too real! and you provide some sort of 'Close this page' button.)

I haven't used any of the scripts on the page belwo but you could give them a go and see if they are/do what you want.

JavaScript : Scripts and Programs : Windows and Frames

They are all JavaScripts so I don't know if that is quite what you want.

Default I see both points of view.....

I see both mushroom's and Alex's points of view. I would definitely agree with Alex's comments on the need for the user to be provided with a means of closing the window.

Here's another link for you:
Full Screen Window Opener Script IE
you may be struggling to get a predictable result for all browsers.

Hope that helps,

Paul

Annoying unless you're expecting it.
