Default Really annoying issue with using forms

Hi I've been creating websites for a while but never have gotten to much into creating forms. Now that I'm trying to get dirty with it I'm about to throw my keyboard through the monitor!

For some reason the text boxes keep expanding and knock everything out of alignment. I've tried everything from designating the width and height of each table row to creating a css style for each cell with a set width and height. Nothing seems to work

I remember reading somewhere that your internet browser can cause the text boxes to expand. Could this be causing the issue?

Can you give me some tips to help?

Thanks

Use the size property in the text box itself.

<input type="text" name="" size="25" maxlength="25" value="" />

Without seeing the page/form example,
I can only suggest that purhaps the
form FIELD needs to be defined (length).

Default Thanks

Great thanks for the advice. It turns out there was a text field that was accidently set at a max of 90 that was throwing off the whole page.
